Hello hello hello again everybody! Coming live from the birthplace of Currituck BBQ's $2 Tuesdays, it's Elder  McMullin ! As always, feel free to send me any frozen turkeys or canberry sauce, and I will happily enjoy them. So, without further ado, here we go! This week has been a little rougher for the work. We had two exchanges and a mission-wide training, which didn't help our time out. We still found 2 new people which was lit, but ECSU has shut down for the holidays, cutting our teaching pool own from actually interested 20 year olds to over 60 Baptists who quasi-politely try to convert us or Hermanos who can't speak English. Speaking of Hermanos, Ivan is currently in Colombia visiting his family, so that's great. But! We are already found someone last night who was really cool, and are set to find a couple more through lessons. We got 6 new people again, but only a handful of lessons and none of them came to church. But! We had some solid contacts with a lady in the projects who kept one of our pass-along cards, and a free baptism that fell from the sky yesterday. Brother Burnette, the Rizz king of Elizabeth city, is getting married for the third time and his fiancee wants the lessons- all before December 14th. So- pray for us and pray for her that we can commit to the bit and get her dunked.      In other news, I have contracted the plague. Tuesday I had a wee Lil sniffle. But, without further ado, here we go!   The work this week was good but slow. We found Ivan on Sunday (but counted him on Monday because I was NOT about to go and re-report KIs), and then hit a dirge the rest of the week. We did have an exchange on Thursday though, meaning a trip to ECSU and 3 more new people. Seriously, it's like shooting angsty fish in a barrel. Lessons did keep falling through, which sucked, but we did get in like 84% of a resto when the lady hung up on us, and 60% of a Plan of Salvation. Unfortunately, neither came to church- but that's what we have Dan and Pao for, I guess.    The fact that they didn't show up was especially irksome, as I happened to be entertainment on Sun...

The work this week has been a wee bit chaotic. Tuesday was incredible, as my prayers were answered and we found 5 people in one day. For those paying attention, that means we beat all of last transfer- in about 6 hours. However, the rest of the week was pretty dead. We visited a few dots to no avail, and LMPs were few and far between. But! We had an absolute miracle on Sunday. We were going to go to Dollar Tree, a favorite of ours, but we both felt it wasn't right. So we went to Walmart instead, and within 2 minutes I found Ivan, who's been taught before and super down for church and baptism!
