I Can't Go 6 Months Without Serving By A Temple

Hello hello hello everyone! Coming live from my soon-to-be past area, its Elder McMullin! As always, if you would like to send me any Richmond merch or several floppy disks, I will happily accept them! But, without further ado, here we go!
Welp, transfer news came and went, and things are finally changing! I'm leaving this Dismal Swamp and it's Dismal people behind to go and see the big city of Richmond! I'll be covering the area known as Gayton, which is in the district with the temple in it! With my change of scenery, I also get a change of occupation- I will be leaving DL behind for the wonderful and terrifying world of Social Media Leader! Recently, our "office elder" position has been exalted on high to being part of Mission Leadership Conference, as well as part of the worldwide mission effort for online work! This all means that I'll be the code-busting, Facebook-stalking, referral-making machine of a man that president intends me to be! The only downside is the path is littered with several bodies, as the two SMLs prior to me went home and went to West Virginia respectfully. So, assuming I can survive for a month and a half, I'll be livin the high life!
As for E city, my beloved NC prison/home, I get to leave it a shining pearl. Overall, we have two easy on dates we can line up, as well as a bunch of cool progressing friends. It's honestly tragic to leave here when it just started getting going, but hey. If it was my job to get the wheels turning again,  I can feel happy with what I've done. Plus, I get to leave when North Carolina is getting swarmed with all manner of creepy-crawlies, so I feel like I'm getting out of Dodge more than anything. It'll be sad to pack my bags and collate my 6 months worth of "accumulation", but it'll be great!
To explain the title line, the big event of the week was Sunday Night! Conference was already gas, as we got a brand new talk to explain the restoration, abortion policy, and several iterations of "HAVE SOME OIL IN YOUR DANG LAMPS!!" But the highlight has to be the Norfolk temple. The Currituck branch (of whom I was watching with) exploded as the CC read it out, and every Elder from here to Stafford was celebrating in the messenger thought bubbles. It warms my heart that something I did up there, no matter how small, was noticeable enough to see "Holiness to the Lord, the house of the Lord" peek over the USS Wisconsin, JANAF, and Tidewater Drive. It is humorous that Elder McMullin (NDBM) also got his temple at the same time, so the McMullins got a full house!
Anyways, sorry for the shorter email, I gotta fly over to the OBX, buy a hoodie, and go to biscuits n' porn before I leave, but I hope yall have a great rest of your week!
