Get Me A Banjo And Undo The 13th Amendment

Hey Howdy hey everyone! Coming live from the misnomer of "city" it's Elder  McMullin ! As always, if you would like to send me any North Carolina tourist sites or a boat, please do and I will happily accept. But, without further ado, here we go! This week was certainly special for the work. All my hard earned data in Newtown was abandoned, including the 3 people Elder Mills and I found in a night. It also didn't help that we lost Thursday to transfers! After driving the 2 hours up to Richmond, Elder Mills insisted on stopping by his favorite fried chicken place in Virginia- a bold complement for any Southern restaurant. Then we swapped companions, said our goodbyes, and I drove another 3 hours back south to the glorious backwater of Elizabeth city because the office forgot to give Elder Giffiths his TIWI card. E city promises to be an... adventure, as we now cover two buildings, two Sim cards, and found two people all of last transfer. Hoo boy. Also exciting news has ...

Taking The V Out Of VRM

Hey Everyone, coming live from my soon to be past area, it's Elder  McMullin ! As always, if you would like to send me any Norfolk memorabilia or seafood, please do and I will happily accept it. But,without further ado, here we go! This week was pretty OK for work. We found 10 new people and had 4 LMPs, and even put someone named Jacob on date. However, all of this came crumbling around our ears as we pulled a nice, Krisp-Kreme-shaped 0 for church attendance. We even had a ride for someone all chalked out, but hey. Technically speaking, we DID have one person attend the First Landing ward, though. For those who have good memories and/or save my emails, you might remember one about my companions "girlfriend", a woman of large stature, high as a kite, and quite possibly mentally unstable. Somehow she remembered when church was, and attended their ward looking for Elder Mills. Disheartened by his lack of show, she apparently caused a ruckus in Sunday School and had to be esc...

Not Even 3,000 Calories Can Break My Pride

Hello again everyone! Coming live from the shores of the first Ironside stalemate, it's Elder McMullin! As always, if any of yall would like to send me any target gift cards or grated cheese, feel free to do so and i will happily accept. But without further ado, here we go! Work this week was mid as crap. We found 6 people and had 4 lessons with members, but it still felt a little low for what we were doing. But, this week we have decided to go full grind and see just how much damage we can do.  Despite some on-par other KIs, we got a BAPTISM! Dewayne, the center of much excitement over the past couple weeks, finally followed the example of Christ and became a member! The previous Friday, however, sucked. Our apartment has a printer we thought was OK, but it could only take one piece of paper at a time, and print one side at a time. So, poor Elder Mills is loading paper like a Victorian working child while I Ctrl-P, thirty times over to get a mere 15 programs. Then, we get news tha...

Well howdy again everyone! Coming live from the recently shut down shipyards of Virginia, it's Elder  McMullin ! As always, feel free to send me juicy conference memes or stolen license plates, and I will get to them eventually. But, without further ado, here we go! This week has been an abomination for work. Monday was Pday, Tuesday was district council (but I had to drive everyone there and back, adding a couple of hours), Wednesday was admittedly normal, Thursday was exchanges, Friday we had to fill up a font, and the weekend was conference. All in all, the KIs took an ugly hit as finding and grinding time was at an all-time low. However, we still snaked in 6 new people, 5 Sacrament attendance, and 4 lessons with members! In other news, Dewayne's baptism should (emphasis on should) be this Saturday, but I'm a little wary rn.  In other news, conference! We listened to the Saturday sessions on our eclectic assembly of random apartment furniture, which was fun. I really lik...
