Hello again everyone! Coming live from the state that has entered the fifth season of "pollening", it's Elder  McMullin ! As always, feel free to send me an inflatable pool or some Raid, and I will happily accept. But, without further ado, here we go!     This week was kinda good for work. It wasn't anything bracket busting, but considering the aerosol-straight-to-the- nostrils this week has been emotionally, I would say we did pretty well. We found 3 new people, 2 came to church, and we had 5 lessons with members participating.  However, the crown jewel of the week (and the transfer) was getting one elusive baptism- CODY!!! But more on that later.      In other news, it is spring out here in Carolina! We found 3 people, 4 came to church, and 3 lessons with members were had, but beyond that it wasn't stellar. The thing that ratcheted those numbers was the real miracle. You see, I am rather dumb, and I foolishly thought that if someone comes to church for six straight months and doesn't look out of place, they must be a member. Ah, silly little Elder  McMullin . It turns out we had a part-member family coming this whole time, which is both the greatest untapped resource every missionary wants, and really unfortunate we didn't tap into it earlier. But! We got 5 new people, 4 lessons with a member, 3 friends at sacrament, 1 new member at sacrament (dang you Krisitin for breaking the chain!!!) And 1 On Date! More on that later, though. Seeing as we managed all that plus two exchanges, interviews, zone p-day, and more eccentricity, I'd say we had a successful week! None of the 5 new people unfortunately came, which I am a little dissapointed in, but we'll keep them in our prayers and in our mass-text-shotgun chamber. Just in case.      In other news, rain! Tuesday proceeded with an unpositive interaction with our recent convert, who wholeheartedly believed Eminem was coming to her child's birthday party and was telling the world in codes on Facebook. She's back out of it now, but it took several days of pounding on her door and frantically messaging Elder Griffiths for ideas to help. Then Wednesday was a tone shift to Zone Conference! I was sick as a dog that morning, but still chucked on my suit, shoes, and glorious full-windsor tie as we once again journeyed to the Northern lands. While we did get 2 new people and LMPs in spades, only one of them came to church. And it was Cody. However, after church packed a punch, as a family I had never seen before strolled in and started for us. The children were quickly swooped up by the Sunday School like large predatory birds sensing new flesh, and we snagged the family history center to talk to the mom. Turns out, she was one of our yellow dots who couldn't make it for first hour but wanted a bible study. She was throwing us mildly judgemental looks as we settled down and started with a prayer, when the whole vibe changed.
